Ducting / Groundworks
Blackoak Contracts provides tailored EV infrastructure with high-quality ducting solutions. We install flexi ducting for versatile use, rigiduct for durable protection, and twin wall electric smooth ducts for efficient cable management. Our teams also carry Cobras at all times and provide cable pulling for all clients, ensuring smooth and reliable installations. All ducting is covered with 150mm sand, 0-2mm graded or termosand/powersand in specific circumstances, detectable warning tapes or BS tiled protection, with the option of a concrete layer in higher trafficked areas for added durability.
Access Pits / Drawpits
To support efficient and safe EV infrastructure installations, Blackoak Contracts also construct access pits and drawpits. These provide essential access points for cable installation, jointing, and maintenance, ensuring flexibility and long-term reliability of the network. Designed to meet site-specific requirements, our pits are built with durability in mind, using quality materials that withstand heavy loads and frequent use. Sizes range from standard 600mm x 600mm up to 2m x 2m, and we can also custom build access pits using block and beams. All highway lids meet D400 standards, with lower B125 lids used in footpaths and soft landscaping.
EV Bases / Blocks
Blackoak Contracts has vast experience in installing EV blocks and pre-cast EV bases, ensuring a solid and accurate foundation for charging units.
